Experience God's Love and Power

VBC Kids

Mission Statement:

VBC Kids exists to make a full impact on children by transforming their daily lives through the Holy Spirit, teaching of His word and the love of Christ.

What to Expect:

VBC Kids serves 1 year olds through 6th grade. Pre K- 6th grade students will engage in worship, participate in Bible study, create crafts, enjoy snacks and join in recreational activities! Students will learn at an age appropriate level and will interact with students in the classroom to build life-long relationships.

Information:

1. What are the operating hours for the VBC Kids?

Sunday Service: 10:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m.

* Children will check-in with our VBC Kids staff in the Sanctuary Foyer before worship service begins (9:45 – 10:10am).
**Children must stay seated with you when VBC Kids is not offered.

2. How do I check-in my child during operating hours?

A designated area in the foyer will be assigned for VBC Kids check-in. Identification of the person listed is required in order for your child to be released into our care. Please arrive early and be patient during this process. Your child will be assigned a badge/ID number. Please keep this number with you at all times.

3. Who is authorized to drop-off and pick-up my child?

As a safety measure, VBC Kids volunteers and staff will only allow those listed in our family database to drop-off and pick-up your child. Four adults may be listed, including parents, and no one under the age of 18 years old is allowed to be placed on the list. To ensure the safety of your children, a photo ID must be presented at the time of each drop-off and pick-up.

4. How will I be contacted if my child needs my care?

Your child’s assigned badge/ID number will be displayed on the projection screen. Once that happens, please report to the check-in area to meet your child.

5. What do I need to do if my child is in the Toddler Room (ages 1-3 years)?

Please list any allergies or special instructions our staff needs to know when registering your child in our family database (i.e., food allergies, feeding instructions and times, Vietnamese speaking only, potty trained). Pre-label all of your children’s belongings (i.e., milk bottles, sippy cups, diaper bags, car seat) and bring an extra pair of clothes. As a courtesy, please put Pull-Ups on your child if he/she is potty-training.

6. Will my child be allowed to sit with me in service?

We highly encourage all children (1 year old through 6th grade) to attend VBC Kids Ministry. The program available will be taught at an age appropriate level so that your child can also benefit. If you would like your child to sit with you, we have a Parent Infant room available with a live stream of the service displayed. The room is located in the foyer.
