Experience God's Love and Power

Children’s Ministry

Mission Statement:

The Children’s Ministry exists to make a full impact on children by transforming their daily lives through the Holy Spirit, teaching of His word and the love of Christ.

What to Expect:

Children’s Ministry serves infants through 6th grade. Pre K- 6th grade students will engage in worship, participate in Bible study, create crafts, enjoy snacks and join in recreational activities! Students will learn at an age appropriate level and will interact with students in the classroom to build life-long relationships.

Nursery (ages 6 months-3 years) will be cared for in a loving environment by our trained staff. All staff are CPR certified to ensure the safety of your child.
“Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, 37 “Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.” (Mark 9:36-37 NKJV)

Information:

1. What are the operating hours for the Children’s Ministry and nursery?

Sunday Vietnamese Service: 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m.

* Children will sit in designated area during corporate worship before class is dismissed.
**Children must stay seated with you when Children’s Ministry & Nursery is not offered.

2. How do I check-in my child during operating hours?

A designated area will be assigned for Children’s Ministry & Nursery check-in. Identification of the person listed is required in order for your child to be released into our care. Please arrive early and be patient during this process. Your child will be assigned a badge/ID number. Please keep this number with you at all times.

3. Who is authorized to drop-off and pick-up my child?

As a safety measure, Children’s Ministry volunteers and staff will only allow those listed in our family database to drop-off and pick-up your child. Four adults may be listed, including parents, and no one under the age of 18 years old is allowed to be placed on the list. To ensure the safety of your children, a photo ID must be presented at the time of each drop-off and pick-up.

4. How will I be contacted if my child needs my care?

Your child’s assigned badge/ID number will be displayed on the projection screen. Once that happens, please report to the check-in area to meet your child.

5. What do I need to do if my child is in the nursery (ages 6 months-3 years)?

Please list any allergies or special instructions our staff needs to know when registering your child in our family database (i.e., food allergies, feeding instructions and times, Vietnamese speaking only, potty trained). Pre-label all of your children’s belongings (i.e., milk bottles, sippy cups, diaper bags, car seat) and bring an extra pair of clothes. As a courtesy, please put Pull-Ups on your child if he/she is potty-training.

6. Will my child be allowed to sit with me in service?

We highly encourage all children (6 months through 6th grade) to attend Children’s Ministry. The program available will be taught at an age appropriate level so that your child can also benefit.
